The art of designing interventions.

Many of the people we’ve helped over the last 25 years with their careers come to us saying something along the lines of “I’m actually quite good at my job and I really enjoy it deep down. I just wish I could do it in a different working environment.”

For most of the people who say this, it never occurs to them to heed the words of Napoleon Hill, “You are the master of your destiny. You can influence, direct and control your own environment. You can make your life what you want it to be.”

It’s all very well saying that but, “How do you do it?” I hear you say. The answer is “practising the art of designing interventions”: reflecting on your situation and what you desire to change and then constructing something you can say to your line manager that will have the desired effect. #proteuscareermanagement #careercoaching
