  • The Your Phone app is pre-installed on your Windows PC if you have the upgrade from October 10, 2018, to Windows 10 version and above.
  • Wi-Fi Connection: To prevent any problems, both devices need to be connected to a reliable and robust internet connection.

Easy way to connect www.aka.ms.yourpc or link your Android to your PC

  1. Type "phone link" into the search bar and select the phone link app.
  2. If you haven't logged in with your Windows account, you could be prompted to do so.
  3. Download the Windows Mobile app or launch it on your smartphone.
  4. Open any browser on your Android device and type the link (Aka.ms/yourpc) that appears on your computer.
  5. Use the same Microsoft account that you used to sign in to your PC to access the mobile app.
  6. After logging in, return to your computer and pick Pair with QR code from the list of options.
  7. Your PC will display a window with a QR code in it.
  8. Is the QR code on your ready, when asked? Choose "Continue" from the menu.
  9. Give your camera access for scanning the QR code.
  10. After scanning the QR code, you may asked for the android access.
  11. Follow the prompts on your android and choose Done.
  12. Return to your PC to analyze the Phone Link app.
